Harwell track results 26 August 2004 - The Killer!

The first running of the "Killer" worked reasonably well.  Roger and
Nick started well behind the others and, with Nick sprinting and Roger
distance running, it wasn't at all obvious who would be eliminated at
the 300m mark.  On the second lap Roger had to push hard to catch the
others and just overhauled them before 700m.  Bob who had also worked
hard to overcome a 16 second deficit, was narrowly eliminated.  On the
third lap Roger and Peter pulled away from Alan, who went out at 1100m.
And at the finish Peter, who hadn't been seriously pushed at any of the
elimination points had too much finishing speed for Roger.  All agreed
it was a worthwhile experiment and we should try it again.
